Brené Brown Quotes to Inspire Change

Dr Brené Brown is another of my favourite writers and speakers. Since reading her book while training as a counsellor, her words have both inspired me and helped me use vulnerability to become courageous.

Brené's research into vulnerability, shame and empathy in her role as a research professor has helped millions over the years through her books, and Ted Talks.

These 25 quotes are just some of my favourites, encouraging you to embrace your imperfections, take chances and to finally believe in yourself.

When you listen to powerful speakers like Brené, it can help you think about things in different ways. It can giver you that little bit of perspective, or ignite thoughts and feelings that you weren't aware of.

While words can influence how you feel, what you think, and what you do, be mindful of taking only what you need – especially if you're having a hard time right now. Use the words to inspire you, but not to add another level of pressure onto your already full mind.

If you haven't yet listened to Brené speak, or read any of her books, I highly recommend doing so. She talks so frankly, and so simply, which makes it very easy to understand and interpret.
